Musharraf, Not Bush, Follows Nixon

By Ray McGovern
August 20, 2008

Most of the fawning corporate media (FCM) coverage of Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf’s resignation Monday was even more bereft of context than usual.

It was as if Musharraf looked out the window and said, “It’s a beautiful day. I think I’ll resign and go fishing.”

Read on.

Blaming Conyers is ignorance of how the system works.

The Fable of Lanova Messiah

It wasn't as bad in the Nixon years. That was before HAVA, when elected officials still pretended that we had a democratic form of government.

There is no longer any shred of pretense in that regard:

Why Our Representatives No Longer Pretend to Represent Us

Pakistan obviously has a more democratic form of government than we do. Instead of representing their constituents, our "elected" officials now need to represent those who control the electoral process in order to stay in office. Elections have been privatized, so Congress now does whatever the owners of the voting machine corporations tell them to do -- otherwise the machines won't be programmed to re-"elect" them.

Since Americans are willing to accept a fascist tyranny that 91% of us don't approve of, and continue to vote in its faith-based elections with secret vote counts, our government can continue to claim that it is democratically elected and has the support of the American people. It doesn't, but most people fail to realize that they cannot demonstrate their opposition to tyranny by voting in rigged elections.

On Musharraf..

Just a bit of history repeating.

Once again like another piece of toilet paper, he was used and was flashed down the 6-inch.

The Coup d’état by the CIA to topple the constitutionally elected government of Sharif and replacing it by its agent, Musharraf as a military dictator, was part of general break-up of another sovereign nation in the area for the regional hegemony of the M.E. by the Zionists’ entity as well as paving the way to attack and destroy IRAQ and AFGHANESTAN.

The Zionists are utilizing the Americans Blood and Treasure to dominate the Middle-East’s human and its natural resources, as well as the OIL, WATER etc.

The US has ZIONISTS’ problem.

This problem must be solved as the most urgent issue we are facing today.
And until then we are all heading for abyss and demise.

What's wrong with Bush's USA? A guy like Ray McGovern writes a piece like this and you get two - count 'em, two - comments. Plus mine makes three.

But I am in Australia. Where is the outrage from US citizens?
