Neither you nor anyone else has a claim to the fruits of my labor to pay for YOUR health care.

And the notion that the absence of socialized medicine "results in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year" is unmitigated bullshit.

Let's play your game, however:

"The absence of a civilized [speed limit] in the United States, almost alone among wealthy nations, results in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year."

"The absence of a civilized [left turn lanes] in the United States, almost alone among wealthy nations, results in ... thousands of unnecessary deaths every year."

"The absence of a civilized [ban on alcohol] in the United States, almost alone among wealthy nations, results in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year."

"The absence of a civilized [ban on fatty foods] in the United States, almost alone among wealthy nations, results in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year."

"The absence of a civilized [limits on obesity] in the United States, almost alone among wealthy nations, results in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year."

"The absence of a civilized [limits on homosexual behavior] in the United States, almost along among wealthy nations, results in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year [from AIDS]."

And bold words from someone who contributed to a Green Party candidate and founder of Code Pink.

I'd gladly put my credentials up against yours.
