There is nothing wrong with pointing out misdeeds by corporations. One or two such misdeeds should, however, not be used to demonize everything that corporations do. Take the case of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Monsanto, DuPont and Syngenta have invested heavily in this field. Millions of farmers are growing genetically modified crops. A record 21 countries are growing these crops. I don't see how all these countries could be wrong on GMOs. I agree that caution is needed when dealing with any new technology. This, however, must never be at the expense of true facts. I wish the current debate about GMOs can be grounded on science and not films.
