Democrats Need Their Own Cheney

Dick Cheney is what Margaret Thatcher called a conviction politician. Yes, with some luck, that may become a play on words, since I believe torture and warrantless eavesdropping violate the law – and the Vice President has proudly announced his role in those decisions by the Bush administration.

A Democratic Cheney?

Well, that eliminates Pelosi and Reid, not to mention just about every other Democratic Member of Congress.

After all, when is the last time you saw a Democratic Member with stand up with a Spine that was not made of jelly?

The Democrats have Dennis Kucinich who was against the invasion of Iraq, against the Patriot Act, fought to impeach Cheney and Bush, etc- and was basically ignored or ridiculed . Had the media and or high ranking democrats backed him..imagine the possibilities. Maybe Kucinich should have told people to F__k OFF to get their attention.
