The emerging church is simply people coming around to what mainline churches, such as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, have taught all along. There's nothing new in the emerging church other than some people seeing through the erroneous teaching of "evangelicals", who are not truly evangelical because they pay little attention to the Gospels.
