Dirty Linen Gets Intel Chief Fired

By Ray McGovern
May 22, 2010

The Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation of how 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab soiled his underpants with a makeshift bomb over Detroit last Christmas hung out so much dirty linen on the crowded clothes line of the U.S. intelligence community that it was an easy call to get rid of Director of National Intelligence, Dennis Blair.

Thank you, Ray, for this post. As an average citizen, it is frightening for me to contemplate the (willful) deterioration of our national intelligence apparatus. The total politicalization of all federal agencies under Dubya and Papa Dick will haunt us for a very long time. Is there any way to estimate the number of neocon imbeds within the intelligence community? And is there any practical way for the President to flush the system, assuming he has the desire and courage to do so?

9/11

List of names of the 125 Israeli "spies" picked up on 9/11
http://factsnotfairies.blogspot.com/2008/03/list-of-names-of-125-israeli-spies.html

“Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert interceded twice with his good friend New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani to have the 9/11 Israelis released”

Christopher Ketcham who wrote an article in Counterpunch about the 'Dancing Israelis' on the morning of 9/11 explicitly states that the celebration started after the first WTC-crash had occurred but before the flight 175 crash.

Christopher Ketcham states that he has sources that the Israelis were on the scene even before the first crash.

Ketcham also tells us about the frustation FBI agents felt when they were told that 'higher ups' had sabotaged the investigation and that the agents had to be released.

A full El Al flight took off on 9/11 from JFK to Tel Aviv Israel.

As always, an interesting article as always. However, I think the term "hawks" with reference to those pushing a war with Iran is an insult to raptors everywhere. From now on, let's call them "rabid war skunks."
