I was born, at slightly past the midpoint of the 20th Century, in the Deep South city of Birmingham, Alabama -- "The Heart of Dixie."

I hope nobody else wastes their time reading this pompous, delusional crap.

To describe Beck (et al) as serving as mouthpieces of the corporate class is accurate, but to call the citizens, "irrational" because they feel insecure, threatened or scared to death given the current unemployment and depressed economy, shows the author is more eager to create his verbose screed, than to be bothered with the reality that we all now face.

We simply can't send our manufacturing jobs off to Communist China, and expect to replace those jobs with health care, or an "information economy."

I really thought he was on point,I did read the story.
And I think Mr. Rockstroh makes a strong case for his position.
I'm impressed and agree.
