Hard Lessons from the HuffPost Sale

U.S. progressive media has had a tough few weeks. First, Keith Olbermann, the pioneer for liberal programming during MSNBC’s evening hours, was sent packing. Then, Arianna Huffington allowed AOL to subsume her Huffington Post into AOL’s right-of-center content for the price tag of $315 million.

So why don't the bloggers @ Huffpost just go to Current Media. With minimal ads it could begin to get the following that Huffpost will begin to lose with AOL. It may take awhile, but time is the one thing Progressives have plenty of right now. And Olberman seems the sort to make sure the slant is right.

I have found huffpost to be a scandalrag, and only read it when linked to ICH, and am surprised anyone would think it progressive. good riddance. The progressives can find lots of good outlets online.

Arianna has a long history of being involved with the Dark side... even before her connection to 1st hubby, she was into a lot of weird stuff, not to mention her expenditures on cosmetics... Good Riddance we saw right through you all this time!!!
And perhaps 'Cosmetic' is the word of the day for this sow's ear masquerading as a silk purse with Lipstick.

My hope is that all the bloggers will just move to Current. That's where I'll be reading and Huff Post will no longer get to count my clicks!

Bloggers should show a united front like the people of Tunisa and Egypt using the power of the social network and leave the Huffington Post in a massive exit to current media! These are Revolutionary times!
Is she sharing that 18 million? I think not.
