Why an Expanded Afghan War?

President Barack Obama appears set to approve a dramatic increase in troops in Afghanistan. The original goal of the U.S. effort there was to find and capture Osama bin Laden. Why is Washington not still seeking the man who allegedly masterminded the attack on American on Sept. 11, 2001?

It's Business. The US has always used the military (and spy agencies) to pave the way for US Business. This is a Capitalist State, remember? Whether it's bananas, wheat, machinery, or oil, in the end the bottom line is always the Bottom Line, regardless of the resons/excuses they drum up to justify all the destruction and slaughter, access and preservation-expansion of markets for capitalist overproduction is the only thing that matters.
