How Israel Out-Foxed US Presidents

By Morgan Strong
May 31, 2010

At the end of a news conference on April 13, President Barack Obama made the seemingly obvious point that the continuing Middle East conflict – pitting Israel against its Arab neighbors – will end up “costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure.”

Read on.

Isn't it amazing how the tiny Nation of Israel has become so "influential" in the comity of nations? If David and Solomon of the Bible were Jews or Hebrews and reigned as kings in Jerusalem, then the conflict in the Middle East predates the modern entity referred to as Israel. It is instructive to remember that Israel as a nation is less than 6 decades old,but the Jews have centuries of nationhood. The Jews have gone through a lot of problems but they have been indestructible. This has nothing to do with their strength, although their resilience is not in doubt. But there must be a reason why this ethnic group has not been wiped out. We may soon find this out when all other Middle East nations and their allies mass up against Israel in a final showdown. It is a matter of time, but it will happen. By then USA may not be in a position to help Israel.

Sorry I meant to write in the 3rd sentence of my previous comment above, "It is instructive to remember that Israel as a nation is less than 7 decades old,...."

Morgan Strong is no friend to Israel or to the Jewish community around the globe. In fact, Morgan Strong's writing shows the thought processes of an outright anti-Semite.

The comment by "moyo" predicting a "final" showdown is both sophomoric and shortsighted.

Thank G-d I don't rely on these folks for protection.

As usual Parry and the Chomskyites love the medieval Arab regimes with their beheadings, extreme abuse of women and children, homicide bombers, and the open antisemitism a la Goebbels et al, along w/the open declaration of destruction of the Jewish State.

Professor Morgan Strong provides an excellent synopsis, sans the usual propagandistic revisionism, of his chosen topic.
If we, as informed citizens, are to be successful in understanding and surviving the many problems we have inherited from the misguided policies of colonialism, empiricism, and other attempts at global hegemony, then we must learn to disregard the fanatic and deceitful protestations of zealots and their ideological facilitators of all persuasions.
We can not continue to allow our public national representatives to engage in policies, globally or domestically, that needlessly cost thousands of innocent lives and economic resources, and sacrifice our national integrity on the pagan alter of fundamentalist extremists.

THIS is the kind of reporting/analysis that actually rationally EXPLAINS the politics of so much of what is happening in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Too often the mainstream media reports are laughably one-sided...Israel good - Arab/Muslims bad... and just don't have an objective tenor. This is obviously a response to all that 'clipped-coverage', revealing the less laudable politics of some of the Israeli leaders.
We can read numerous accounts in the US media about the shortcomings of the Arab/Islamic leaders, and I don't doubt the veracity of much of it. But to then omit any significant details of Israeli wrongs simply makes the accounts incomplete at best, and suspect at worst.

Peaceful co-existence should be worked out.

The tail doesn't wag the dog. Israel is a client state, dependent upon U.S. foreign aid money. Israel does nothing without prior U.S. permission or direct orders from the U.S. for fear of losing that aid money.

Although Israel may provide the U.S. with plausible deniability by carrying out actions for which the U.S. does not wish to be blamed, it is acting as the U.S. proxy, not as a lone wolf or mad dog.

Anyone who is in any way familiar with our capitalist system knows that it is the person who writes the paycheck who is the boss and the person who collects the paycheck is the employee who can be fired at any time if they don't obey orders. The U.S. writes Israel's paycheck.

I just love that. "A perception"!

Anyone who talks about a perception that the US is biased toward Israel is a lying asshole.

The truth is, we are absolutely Israel's bitch and have been for 50 years. They order us around and we obey. And we pay them handsomely for it!

There is no other way to describe this so-called relationship.

I am sickened by Jews masquerading
as Americans to carry out Israeli agendas.

Jewish money controls the USA.

Perhaps its American Taxpayers money given to Israel (already $3Trillion) which finds its way back via AIPAC to control the US Congress.

Kennedy was assassinated & Israel had a motive that we never knew about which was the Israel Nuclear program.http://100777.com/node/191

On 9/11 Israeli "spies" were picked up under very suspicious circumstances.
http://factsnotfairies.blogspot.com/2008/03/list-of-names-of-125-israeli-spies.html

The U.S.was neoconed into a "War on Islam" on Israel's behalf which will cost more than $3 Trillion.

Meanwhile our children's children & their children's children will have to pay for it.

If the Truth is "Antisemitic" I am a proud Antisemitic.

Absolutely 100 % true.

Israel can literally get away with murder & be supported in the U.S. Congress with lies & more AIPAC propaganda.

US AIPAC Politicians say that the Aid Convoy broke an internationally recognized blockade.

But recognized by who ?

Internationally the UN says that the Blockade is ILLEGAL.

AIPAC acts like the Mafia to retain control.

They even explain how they do it here in this very short video.

Time for Americans to wake up & take back their country.

It is no much out-foxing, but, turning a blind eye, and abetting the existence and criminal activities of a proxy state, like Israel, by its bigger sponsor the United States.
