Obama's Bungled Military Strategies

President Barack Obama inherited a difficult national security situation — wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; an exaggerated and counterproductive war on terror; debilitating deficits and rising debt; an obstructionist Congress; and a corporate media that has abandoned its watchdog ethos.

Mr. Obama is an anti-war guy facing the crude reality of the creeping power of the Pentagon and the military establishment. Power no only manifest in the militarization of the current administration foreign policy, but beyond it and into the very civilians affairs of American society.

That Petraeus don't give head to the "bleeding wound" or "bleeding ulcer" is an eloquent proof of the control they've got.
