Fascism is one of those words that sounds like it belongs in the past, conjuring up, as it does, marching jack boots in the streets, charismatic demagogues like Italy’s Mussolini or Spain’s Franco and armed crackdowns on dissent and freedom of expression.

This was an awesome article. High five!!! I just wish this kind of information was flashed accross the main stream news. All Americans need to know what is happening to them, to all of us, right under our noses. Honestly, it feels like the end of the world.
I read Wolf's book and was shocked by how much George Bush got away with through the Homeland Security.
It galls me that misinformed people are calling Obama out but didn't give Bush too hard a time—and still don't.
He paved the way for fascist takeover.
And it will be wrapped in the flag...
