America's Stay-at-Home Ex-President

By Ray McGovern
February 8, 2011

As the news broke on Saturday that former President George W. Bush had abruptly canceled his scheduled appearance this week in Geneva to avoid the risk of arrest on a torture complaint, my first thought was — how humiliating, not only for Bush but, by extension, for all Americans.

There's a lot of things that are easy to say about this, especially in the nature of cheap shots, but there's little I can add to Mr. McGovern's opening paragraph: "...how humiliating, not only for Bush but, by extension, for all Americans."

What little I can add is this: Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Rove, Gonzalez, Yoo and the whole lot of the rest of them are, simply, sociopathic, and hence incapable of feeling humiliation. The hostility or hatred of others meets with their total indifference at best, belligerence at worst. Other manifestations of this condition include:

# Apparent lack of remorse or empathy for others
# Persistent lying or stealing
# Poor behavioral controls — expressions of irritability, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression, and verbal abuse; inadequate control of anger and temper
# Tendency to violate the boundaries and rights of others

It is up to the rest of us Americans to bear the humiliation and scorn these people bring upon our country; they wouldn't even recognize it.

Okay, now it's time for a cheap shot - the reason Texans were so enthusiastic about him running for president was to get him out of the governor's mansion in Austin.

At least he will be welcome in Israel.

I agree with all Mr. McGovern has to say here but I have to comment at how amazing it is that such a good "Intelligent" man could believe in the gobldy gook of "ecumenical" Catholics.

The humiliation for the USA was the "election" of a stumbling bumbling G.W.Bush to the White House.

This was acomplished mainly by Mr McGovern's fellow believers in mumbo jumbo Christianity.

If we truly had a liberal media, more Americans would be aware of the crimes committed by GW Bush and his "team".
Shame? Responsibility? Remorse? None of these are in Bush, nor his cadre' of illegal acting co-horts.

" ... how humiliating ... for all Americans."

THE humiliation is that it will only be ANOTHER nation, apparently, that will try these pigs, if ever.

The same international law that empowers ANOTHER country to consider arresting Bush, requires Obama to also do so.

But, no, he'll simply "look forward" into the moral and political morass in which the rest of the world justifiably waits for to become irreversibly engulfed.

WELL DONE MR. MCGOVERN;
I grew up watching War Crimes from Black & White videos taken from reel to reel "tin's" of the mighty works of the German SS, Hitler's Command and the Camp's... The Death Camp's.

Today, Preserved in time are HDTV "Color" Digital formatted Images and Videos. Yet the "Shoe" as it would appear is on OUR FOOT. Now this pisses off many that would like to hide behind these crimes.

Here is my real thought as I see it. The Pentagon's attempt to "Kill the Messengers" Manning and Assange because Soon one of these "Releases" will Name Names and will show who was behind these event's and then we will see how fast the Domino's Fall as Each One tries to save his own "Skin" by giving up the Next in Command.

An Example: Men in CAVES had NORAD stand down for nearly 90 Minutes while the US was Attacked and after all was said and done... Instead of Head's Rolling for falling asleep on their WATCH. We saw PROMOTIONS. This is so that NO ONE TALKED. You don't reward Blunders with Promotions nor the Murder of 3,000 American's with it either.

One might also look at other "Secret Deals" from these two Wars and current News and you don't have to be CIA to see the "TRUTH."

Google what MONSANTO is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan and current News in the European Theater with G.M. Seeds. Their "Patents" and how they have put much of Iraq's Farmers out of business. Remember Iraq, Our Bible history and how Iraq and countries produced their OWN WHEAT for thousands of years. Now they can't even save seed because of "Patent" with Monsanto.

We call ourselves Christians...
