Thanks for a great succinct analysis, Robert. Certainly, principles have been missing from US presidents since Carter. How Reagan can be considered a hero by US citizens shows the power of the "free media" in the USA. I find it incredible that what Mercans seem to believe bears no relation to US history. Even now, why would 70% of your population find Wikileaks "criminal" for exposing truth in government policies?
