Impeachment & the Constitution

The United States has been in a prolonged Constitutional crisis since the Supreme Court showed it had been corrupted by partisan politics when the Bush vs. Gore ruling was issued in December 2000.

The Bush Administration began by Republican politicians thumbing their noses at the rule of law. The past seven years have been an unending assault on Constitutional government, American political traditions and personal freedom.

It is time to place impeachment fully on the table for the top members of the Bush White House and Cabinet.

While I agree fully with Dr. Frank's assessment of President Cheney and Boy Bush, I think there is one more scenario unwritten and unspoken: I think that Boy Bush is being blackmailed (by obvious sources) to do the bidding of a foreign country. Think about this hard and long. You may also agree with me. --jws

J, I don't really believe that anyone in "power" has an uninvited gun pointed to their heads. Think about it. This is what they live for, and they LIKE it.

No sane or rational human being remains in any "role", whether businessman or hamburger flipper, unless they WANT to stay there. Nobody came along to GW and said, "Hey you! Yeah... I'm talkin' to ya'. Now THIS is what you're gonna do." unless HE wanted to all along.

There are no "unwilling" puppets at play here, unless you're talking about the rest of us.

I have practiced nearly 27 years, am admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, have practiced appellate law and criminal law, and have researched this issue to my satisfaction. Now-deceased former U.S. Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist wrote in is book Grand Inquests writes on page 274 about the Nixon impeachment proceedings:
"All members of the Judiciary Committee--even the ten Republicans who voted no on each proposed article--appear to have rejected the view that a constitution 'high crime or misdemeanor' must be an indictable offense under the criminal law."
