Israel needs to bomb Iran and other Arab countries into worthless dust. The destruction of Israel? LOL. No country can come close to defeating Israel. What a joke.
Great article. Sorry about the anonymous ignoramus who thinks this is a joke. Now Israel is worried about its "delegitimization" and not about the future of the world, for that is how serious this demonization of Iran, for NO reason, has become. The only benefit you mention would be the US citizens waking up to their "ally"!

They’re like anti-intellectual stink bombs: designed to cause maximum discomfort but have little if any real power."...
Like most people, I was totally sympathetic with Israel after WWII, but their conduct has proven my belief in that country's leaders to have been in error.
In my opinion, commenters like numbers 1 and 3 are to be pitied; they further degrade Israel in the eyes of the world.
Israel has the FULL right, responsibility in fact, to defend itself and the world against terror and evil. If you deny that Iran represents terror, you are either ignorant or supportive of terror, and if you beleive no one should do anything about it, you are even more ignorant and dangerous. You are a fool, and I pray that you will see the truth. Word.
Interesting, Dan, that you consider Iran a terrorist rogue state, when Iran has not attacked another country since the days of antiquity. Israel is obviously the most dangerous rogue state in the Middle East, attacking sovereign states such as Lebanon at will, and even NATO allies such as Turkey as in the recent flotilla massacre.
Pop quiz: who is the only nuclear power in the Middle East? Answer: Israel. Which country has rejected the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Israel or Iran? Answer: Israel.
Dan, people like you are extremely dangerous. You assert that Israel has the "FULL right" to defend itself, but unfortunately your implicit definition of "defense" includes pre-emptive aggression. That is what we are talking about here. It's not "defense" when you strike first.
This article provides a lengthy recitation of US/Israel relations that is painfully distorted in order to conclude that Israel is planning an attack on Iran, maybe even this month. Life is not long enough to reply to every nudnik point made, but on the question of who started the 67 war, let us remember that Egypt massed an army in the sinai and at the same time Syria massed an army to the north. That seems like syncronicity for war. In short order the Jordanians attacked as well. Yes, Israel fired the first shots, but that doesn't seem so odd in the context of massing armies on three sides.
It appears this letter is intended to raise funds for a group of retired intelligence officers who are not really able to make a living honestly.

You certainly won't see any military types sending letters questioning the war in Irag, US support for Saudi Arabia or any other oil rich countries...noting that the reason for US policy in the middle east is about our dependence on oil...
Really, who would care about what goes on in these desert countries if not for oil?
Really, would we be fighting these wars were we not funding their bombs with petrodollars?
Puh-leese - Who did Cheney (Bush's puppetmaster) work for? Haliburten. Who was Bush 2 but an oil man....
Think about it, for sanity sake. Who is really pulling the strings here? Israel is a convenient scapegoat.
Do you think 6 million Jews in our country of 300 million people pulls the US strings? This hearkens back to old Protocols of the Elders of Zion so popular now in the Middle East...
"Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin publicly confessed:"

I think the next big event will be Venezuela?. As for Iran, there is no way that Israel will attack Iran without the 100% backing of the USA. Why attack at this moment in time?. They have planty of time to attack Iran, they know it does not have nuclear weapons and even it did want nuclear weapons it is years from acquiring them. The USA has too much on its plate in that part of the world at the moment. I think the strategy will be to consolidate in its own backyard...Venezuela next?.

FROM WIKIPEDIA:
The Six-Day War of June 5–10, 1967 (also known as the June War) was a war between Israel and the neighboring states of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. The Arab states of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria also contributed troops and arms.[1] At the war's end, Israel had gained control of the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. The results of the war affect the geopolitics of the region to this day.
Following numerous border clashes between Israel and its Arab neighbours, particularly Syria, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser expelled the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) from the Sinai Peninsula in May 1967.[b] The peacekeeping force had been stationed there since 1957, following a British-French-Israeli invasion of Egypt which was launched during the Suez Crisis.[9] Egypt amassed 1,000 tanks and nearly 100,000 soldiers on the Israeli border[10] and closed the Straits of Tiran to all ships flying Israeli flags or carrying strategic materials, receiving strong support from other Arab nations.[c] Israel responded with a similar mobilization that included the call up of 70,000 reservists to augment the regular IDF forces.[11] On May 30 Jordan and Egypt signed a defense pact. The following day, at Jordan's invitation, the Iraqi army began deploying troops and armored units in Jordan.[12] They were later reinforced by an Egyptian contingent. On June 3 Egypt's Commander-in-Chief issued an order for the day to his troops in Sinai which referenced the importance of "Holy War" and the reconquest of "the plundered soil of Palestine."[13]
On June 5, 1967, Israel launched what is widely described as a preemptive strike on Egyptian airfields and armored columns in Gaza and Sinai.[d] Despite Nasser's war rhetoric and military posturing, Egypt denied planning to attack Israel, saying the Israeli strike was not preemptive but an unwarranted and illegal act of aggression.[f] Jordan, which had signed a mutual defence treaty with Egypt on May 30, then attacked western Jerusalem and Netanya.[14][15][g]

If the VIP can argue against an attack on Iran on the 0basis that poor judgement of the Israeli GOVERNMENT might translate into world backlash against the Israeli PEOPLE, why can't they include a similar, more relevant, argument about the American GOVERNMENT'S failure to reign in Israel and it's effect on the perception of American PEOPLE by the rest of the world. (With Afghanistan and Iraq as perfect examples of the phenomenon.)
It is becoming more obvious to Americans that Israel is not what it is made out to be in our news media and is not our "ally". That is a zionist news media concoction pushed down American's throats. Any act of war is an act of terror and Israel is an expert at that. Far exceeding that of Hamas.
as usual, Jewish blood is cheap. Go live in the medieval arab countries where women are reduced to non entities, beheadings and stoning are punishments routinely carried out, and radical muslim rhetoric and anti semitic propaganda constantly accuses jews of "crimes" worse than Goebbels ever espoused. Israel is the only democracy in the middle east, and with 200+ enemies, why wouldn't she strike preemptively in '67 w/several arab armies massing at her borders? Parry and your quislings go to hell!
But you fail to see, what is Israel doing to the Palestinian people. To Israel their blood is "cheap". This in truth has NOTHING to do with the Jews or the Muslims or the Christians. You should listen to these people, they are the children of God...

Mend your ways, think, about the things you say and do...
"Parry and your quislings go to hell!"
That is not off God, mend your ways for the sake of YOUR soul, you are not of this world for long, none of us are, think about it.

Ever notice how web pages & even you tube items just aren't available anymore ?
"giyus.org" are specialists in "you tube smackdowns" that harass you tube members posting any video not pro-Israel.
Besides "giyus" there are many other sectors in the Jewish/Israeli PR hasbara Army active Worldwide to promote Zionist propaganda.
The hasbara "guide book" & army are powerful shapers of opinion.
In the MSM news etc the language is dictated by hasbara specialists with their language "controlling the story".
Hasbara army soldiers are well represented in forums on the net to screen & moderate what is accepted & rejected.
So the message to the Gullible Goyim is to "wake up" & smell the coffee.
The creation of Israel was a huge mistake but achieving it should have been a wake up call to demonstrate Jewish power & influence.
Now while the Goyim have been "otherwise engaged" they have been "taken over" by the the Jews without knowing what has happened.
Meanwhile we are wasting American Blood & Treasure on Israels behalf & NOT in America's interests.

Before you place an ounce of trust in the pronouncements or intentions of the Israeli government, remember the Liberty.
as usual, Jewish blood is cheap.
"as usual, Jewish blood is cheap."
Yes you right.
