The war on dissent, rather than terrorism, continued full steam with FBI SWAT teams breaking down doors at 7 a.m. Friday morning and raiding the homes of several anti-war leaders and activists in Minneapolis, Chicago and possibly a couple other Midwest cities.

First, and foremost, it is a great disappointment that no subscriber to ConsortiumNews has chosen to comment on Coleen Rowley's timely and erudite article.
This issue is not only one of government officials, paid by public funds, violating the public's Constitutional right to peacefully assemble and and petition their government, it demonstrates intentional contempt for the very rule of law that these officials swear an oath to uphold.
If progressive voices are silent in defense of those, like Coleen Rowley, who speak truth to such corrupt practices, then who will have the courage and moral fiber to do so?
