Afghanistan may be the graveyard of empires, but Iraq is home to a graveyard sense of humor. Iraqis wonder aloud whether the U.S. and Britain would have invaded Iraq if its main export had been cabbages instead of oil.
You have written about "PNAC" previously. What does "PNAC" stand for and where is information about it available and readeable? (Source, Publisher, year).
Likewise, you provide no way for those of us (myself included of course) to read "J. Petrus". Please provide title, publisher, and year(s) for your preferred source(s).
Not all of us are initiated and some of us are ready to learn.
Many of us know that there are other points of view and that for reasons you detail in the case of the UK these are not shared with those of us in the US.
Reasons are analyzed in MANUFACTURING CONSENT by E. S. Herman and Noam Chomsky. Also by Noam Chomsky is NECESSARY ILLUSIONS.
Sources from abroad which would be of interest include :
SWEDEN
"AB" ("Aftonbladet"), I believe it is available in English.

So?
Iraq was about oil but NOT mainly.
It was a push by US neocons for Israel.
Ask yourself who benefitted ?
The US PNAC plan to expand the illegal state of Israel.
Read Professor J. Petrus.
BTW Libya like Iraq wanted to be paid for oil but NOT in US dollars.
BE MORE SPECIFIC

Ray spoils an otherwise good piece of journalism by the increasingly questionable assertion:
"Al Qaeda’s Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks . . . ."
