Abramoff Had Closer Ties to Bush

By Jason Leopold
June 10, 2008

Imprisoned lobbyist Jack Abramoff was photographed with President George W. Bush at least five times and had hundreds of lobbying contacts with White House staff, a House committee’s draft report says.

Hundreds of pages of documents, released Monday by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, show that Abramoff regularly communicated with former White House political adviser Karl Rove and his deputies regarding the administration’s domestic agenda.

Read on.

The acts that Abramoff and the White House committed together are not nearly as sinful as the fact that no politician in the Democratic Party has the guts to do anything about it and no one in the Democratic Public is paying attention while they are being FWAKed (FCUKed WITHOUT A KISS).

So as far as I am concerned, God Bless These Criminal Perpetrators, the Abramoffs, the White House Officials, and their supporters, for being able to break laws, steal, lie in a way that affects the American people, spit in Congress's and the Senate's faces, have all of their criminal behaviors become public and GET AWAY WITH IT.

Gosh, sometimes "it makes me sooooo mad," (to quote Red Skelton) that I don't have the kind of brain that allows me to think that way, too. This is the perfect time for those intelligent enough to know how to steal BIG to rape and loot America .
Guess I'm just too dumb to figure out how to empty the American Treasury. I'll have to wait for the book by Karl Rove, you know...."How to be a Major American Criminal and Get Away With It, FOR DUMMIES."

Itzamirakul -- Well, Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) did read 35 Articles of Impeachment against Bush into the Congressional Record yesterday.

Ain't much...but at least someone is doing something against those criminal SOBs.

Fact checker:

It's good to hear that at least ONE politician has to guts to speak out against this criminal administration. Guess I'll have to check c-span or something to hear Kucinich's speech and the Articles of Impeachment.

The problem is, Nancy Pelosi is protecting someone by refusing to entertain even the very idea of impeachment.

So, if Bush and Cheney just keep on claiming Executive privilege and refusing to allow their underlings to testify to Accountability Hearings, who in the heck is going to arrest them? This is when we find out who REALLY runs the united States.

Itzamirakul -- Not to be argumentative, but I doubt that Nancy Pelosi is "protecting someone" per se. She undoubtedly believes that impeachment would be damaging to the Democratic Party's election efforts -- of course, this means she's putting party over country (and the law), which is deplorable.

Frankly I think at this point, if Barack Obama wants to prove that he's truly an agent of change, he should be the one leading an effort to get to the bottom of all the untruths (LIES!) and deliberate misinformation promulgated by the thugs in the WH.

Obama is now the presumptive "leader" of the Democratic Party -- his feet should be put to the fire on this issue.

How can real change be accomplished when the presumptive leader of that change is silent on this important issue?

Why don't independent journalists such as Robert Parry write about Obama's responsibilities on the matter?

Hi Consortium,
There are lots of Abramoff & Bush ties. He was a major fundraiser in the 2000 election, he was on the transition team and apparently was in the white house about 600 times.

Following are a few story excerpts I found for attribution:
